Box Sash Window Types

Box sash windows are influenced by architectural style, with Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian designs each featuring distinct glazing bar patterns. Fitted behind a recessed reveal, they maintain a slender frame margin, a key part of the classic look associated with wooden sash windows.

While similar to a traditional box sash window, these timber sash windows use weights and pulleys to counterbalance the sashes. Weights can be easily hidden upon request.

Amazing windows and doors

My wife and I got in touch with Westbury not really knowing what we wanted for our Garden Room, all we knew was we didn’t want the normal. We’re very pleased with our roof lantern

We purchased a roof lantern from Westbury at the end of last year and our experience from start to finish was brilliant. Our sales advisor, Rob, was superb. He guided us through the process, steering the design so it really complemented our Georgian house. In hindsight our original idea wasn’t quite right and Rob was really knowledgeable when it came to getting this right for us. After install we had a couple of remedial bits but the after sales team immediately arranged for somebody to come and have a look and it was all rectified pretty swiftly. We’re really pleased with the end result and would definitely recommend Westbury.
