Job Title: Timber Window & Door Delivery Driver (for vehicles including 7.5 Toones)

Location: South Woodham Ferrers, Essex (Cutlers Road)

Salary: £11.00 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm (plus optional overtime)

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced 7.5-Tonne Delivery Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers while providing excellent service. The successful candidate must be familiar with operating various vehicles, up to and including 7.5 tonne.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a range of vehicles, up to & including 7.5-tonne
• All operations must comply with road and company regulations
• Deliver goods to customers on time and in excellent condition
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring correct handling of goods
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Adhere to health & safety guidelines at all times
• Be willing to assist in other departments when required

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Category C1 driving licence (7.5T), with at least two years experience
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Tachograph Card
• Full clean UK driving license
• Forklift license is essential
• Previous experience in a delivery driving role is a preference
• Good knowledge of UK roads and traffic laws
• Physically fit, as heavy lifting will be a regular requirement
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, flexible with excellent time keeping & load management skills
